Dorothy's Dumplings

Prep Time: 5 Min. Cook Time: 10 Min. What you need:

+ 1 c. all-purpose flour
+ 2 Tbsp. cornstarch + 3 tsp. baking powder + 1/2 tsp. salt + 1 large egg, beaten + 1/2 c. skim milk What to do:
1. In a medium bowl, combine flour, cornstarch, baking powder and salt. Stir in egg and milk; mix just until the dry ingredients are moistened.
2. Using a tablespoon, drop the dough onto a boiling stew or broth. Cover tightly; boil gently 10 minutes or until dumplings are fluffy and no longer doughy underneath.
